Houses for the community
A house members can live and work in.
The membership is for students, professionals, founders, and nomads. This page is for someone who has a house that could hold them: a kitchen, a table, and rooms for twin sharing.

Two partnerships
License partnership
You want the house used by members and off your week.
We run the house for the community. You are not coordinating who shares a room, who is working at the table, or what broke on a Sunday. The economics are a set monthly amount, written down after we have seen the place.
- Day-to-day stays with us
- A set monthly amount, agreed up front
- Members, maintenance, and the standard of the house
Management partnership
You want the community in the house, and you still want an owner's view.
We place members and run the week. You keep oversight. You get a report you can read, not a thread of roommate problems.
- We place members
- We coordinate maintenance
- You keep oversight, with a regular report
On the license partnership, the income is a set monthly amount in the agreement, not a published percentage on this page. We name the number after we have walked the house. Residents are screened: background, the ability to pay, and a conversation about how they live.
What we will take
- Enough bedrooms that twin sharing still feels like a house, not a corridor
- A kitchen people will cook in, and a table that fits the members
- Somewhere a week is livable, near Downtown Austin: a lively, quieter, walkable, university, practical, or slower block
- An owner who wants the house used well
How it starts
01
Tell us about the house
Neighborhood, beds, baths, and whether the kitchen and the living room can hold a group of members.
02
We walk it
A Man Made house needs a kitchen people will use, a table, and rooms that can be shared by two. If it cannot hold that life, we will say so.
03
Set it up
We furnish what is missing, agree how we work together, and only then offer memberships there.
04
Members move in
Students, professionals, founders, and nomads. You get the arrangement we wrote down, and a house that is being lived in.
